Over a month without a new journal entry, and I am supposedly a writer. Ha! So, I just wanted to let anyone who may be even half-interested in myself and/or my writing in the slightest know that yes, I am indeed still alive, just not well, thus not motivated. The last month has been a very difficult one for me and very trying at that, and I figure that keeping on the down-low is best in order to keep the spread of any bad vibes to a minimum.

To those of you who have left me comments to which I have yet to respond, please rest assured that your encouraging words have not gone unnoticed and that I will definitely be responding in due time. I truly appreciate all that this supportive community has done for me during these last couple of months and plan to return in full force once I am feeling more (or perhaps less) like myself again. Of course, the posting of my pieces will recommence at that time as well, and I look forward to playing a more active role here.

I am currently taking my solace from the fact that my pain and suffering, whether perceived or real, means that much more joy is being experienced by all of you out there.
